How to Brew Soursop Leaf Tea

???? How to Brew Soursop Leaf Tea

What you need:

  • 3–5 dried soursop leaves (washed)
  • 3 cups of water
  • A glass or CorningWare pot (avoid metal or clay pots, as they may affect taste and quality)
  • Optional: honey or lemon for flavor

Steps:

  1. Rinse the leaves – Quickly wash the dried soursop leaves to remove any dust.
  2. Boil water – Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a CorningWare or glass pot.
  3. Add the leaves – Place the soursop leaves into the boiling water.
  4. Simmer gently – Lower the heat and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes, until the water turns a light brown or golden color.
  5. Strain and serve – Remove the leaves, pour the tea into a cup, and enjoy warm.

Tips:

  • Drink 1–2 cups daily for general wellness.
  • If storing, keep in the fridge and reheat gently before drinking (do not microwave in metal containers).
  • The color of the leaves doesn’t affect the benefits—just like with Chinese herbs, effectiveness matters more than color.
