???? How to Brew Soursop Leaf Tea
What you need:
- 3–5 dried soursop leaves (washed)
- 3 cups of water
- A glass or CorningWare pot (avoid metal or clay pots, as they may affect taste and quality)
- Optional: honey or lemon for flavor
Steps:
- Rinse the leaves – Quickly wash the dried soursop leaves to remove any dust.
- Boil water – Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a CorningWare or glass pot.
- Add the leaves – Place the soursop leaves into the boiling water.
- Simmer gently – Lower the heat and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes, until the water turns a light brown or golden color.
- Strain and serve – Remove the leaves, pour the tea into a cup, and enjoy warm.
Tips:
- Drink 1–2 cups daily for general wellness.
- If storing, keep in the fridge and reheat gently before drinking (do not microwave in metal containers).
- The color of the leaves doesn’t affect the benefits—just like with Chinese herbs, effectiveness matters more than color.
